miss sporty makeup is rather cheap

depending from where you are in the world.

ask your mum or friends if you cant afford makeup

for any old stuff they dont want?

a natural mineral powder will cover flaws instantly

gold eyeshadows bring out your eyes, use a brown/black mascara

also, a hint of vasleing, avoid gloss its too sticky, lipstick can seem

too heavy and un natural.

you can try messing with your hair aswel?

braid it before you go to bed, dampen it then when you wake up

un weave them, apply a little serum and youl have beautiul waves.

be sure to keep your face clean too, wash all makeup off properly.

if you really are stuck for money, just invest in a subtle powder and

mascara, apply the powder (your own shade) using a brush, in a circular motion

on your cheeks, nose, brow and chin. apply a few lashings of mascara on top and bottom eye lashes, it opens your eyes RIGHT up.

then use vaseline to do the rest! a little on your eye lids and lips gives

a beautiful natural sheen. if you have good skin, dont start wearing

face makeups, just stick to the vaseline and mascara.

hope this helps!!!
use a concealer that matches ur skin tone for ur lips use a coral or light pink color to make lips apear biger put a white line just above the little arch in ur top lip and use a lip line jus a few shades darker then ur lip color and mark a little u shape on the lin of ur botom lip do not go corner to corner it looks fake for your eyes u shud use a brown black or deep purple eyele line do a medium think line on the uper lid and a very thing one on the botom dependong on what color eyeliner u are useing use an eye shadow a few tones lighter or a shimmering gold color for the actual lid if the eye and place a nice white simer just below the eye brow use a color colored blush never go for a brown or red blush brown makes u apear dirty and red makes u seem feverish so in the end u will have light colored lips and kinda dark eyes use these tricks for every day life and u will apear radiant and glowing
You still have a lot of great options at the drug store. Get a nice beige or netural shadow. You can also try browns. I don't know how advanced you are with makeup so you might want to try a set that comes with three colors, lid, crease, and a highlight. You'll get a pro look without doing much work.

Try some fun chapstick for a light glow to the lips. Pick up a nice peachy blush. That will work for your skin tone and compliment the eyeshadow colors. Layer up on the mascara to get a nice dark effect. Try Cover Girl or Maybelline mascaras.
buy a brown and tanish white shadow and mascara. but the lighter color over You whole eyelid area under the brow and the brown in the crease of your eyelid. apply mascara. use a light mineral powder blush and a sticky free lip gloss. Yuo will look naturally Beautiful

How do I become a Make-Up Artist?

Hi!

Ive been wanting to go into the Make-Up artist field, and was wondering what I need to do to become one? Im trying to look for classes in San Diego but cant find any. Any recommendations??

And another question cosmetologist really wouldn't be the title of a Make-Up artist right?

I would really appreciate answers! Thank You!!How do I become a Make-Up Artist?
Yes, a cosmetologist can definitely include being a make-up artist! Cosmetology is the study or ART of cosmetics and their use. Sounds like a make-up artist to me! The school will probably use the the word cosmetology because it covers all different aspects of the field so don't get discourged by the use of the word. Just make sure the school offers specific classes designed for what you are looking for! I just googled it and found several schools in San Diego! Good luck! :) How do I become a Make-Up Artist?
Just search up make-up/hair/aesthetics in the San Diego area on Google Search Engine, and it will definitely show you some academies that offer a makeup-artistry certificate. To become a makeup artist all you have to do is go to an academy (school) for about half a year to a year, to learn how to do makeup. Once you have successfully finished this coarse, you will receive your makeup-artistry certificate which will make it official that you have the skills, knowledge and ability to do makeup professionally on yourself and others. However, a cosmetologist is an individual who works for the department store in which the cosmetic brand is suited in, such as Chanel in Neiman Marcus. The cosmetologist does not directly work ';Chanel';, but they represent Chanel and Neiman Marcus, so their salary is paid equally by both companies. They are driven to meeting and exceeding daily/monthly goals, sell cosmetic merchandise and recieve commisson, and follow the rules of that department store. Where on the other hand, a makeup artist works directly for the company, say for example a Chanel Makeup artist. Their salary is fully paid by Chanel, but do not make commisson, however they help with area-wide makeup events, and help sell and encourage product investment from the consumer. It's an awesome industry and you will enjoy it because it opens your brain to creativity and imagination!
you should be able to fiund make-up colleges in places. in australia, we got napolean that does a lot of that. like the places that only do makeup, nothing else.

doing a bit of work experience in a place like that beforehand will help you get into one of them.

and if ny place uses the word cosmetologist, its way too pretentious. a makeup artist is a makeup artist!!
I asked this almost exact question and got zero answers so... Good luck!

Is it hard for a make up artist and hairstylist to start a life in New York?

Hi, I'm an Asian freelance make up artist and hairstylist currently working in London. I'm thinking to move to New York, I'm wondering will it be hard for me to find jobs and start a life there? how much would an average room rent cost? How much is the minimum cost of living a week? what is the best way to start? Pls advice! will be very much appreciated! Thanks for your time.Is it hard for a make up artist and hairstylist to start a life in New York?
I would send examples of your work to the various makeup artist reps and set up app'ts in advance. You might have to work pro bono initially along side established pros until clients and your rep know you are reliable and do a good job. Then again, they may love your work and have jobs ready for you when you come.. Take a look at the NY page of Craigslist and check out the apt listings. They have shares, your own rental etc.. you can see what the median price is this way and in the various areas of the city.. London exp. I would think would count for a lot in NY as it is such a fashion forward city. Is it hard for a make up artist and hairstylist to start a life in New York?
Yes. If you havent done any pro work it will be. Get whom ever you ork for currently to write a letter of recomendation when you find a job in NY. As for home prices, last i heard they were high, but google it. Like: housing prices in new york 2008.

  • Is it OK to have make-up in you hand luggage?

I'm flying from England to Spain on Thursday and was just wondering if I can take my make-up in my hand luggage. I couldn't the last three times I flew (last August and twice in December) but have the rules changed? Is it OK to have make-up in you hand luggage?
yes the rules have changed, your allowed to carry anything that you can put in one small baggie, it needs to be in the clear baggie if it's on your carryon luggage.

Effective Tuesday September 26, 2006, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will modify the total ban on liquids, gels and aerosols as carry-on items. Here are the two changes:

    1. Travelers will be allowed to carry on travel-size toiletries (3 ounces or less in volume) that fit comfortably into one quart-size, clear plastic, zip-top bag through security checkpoints.

Check the website of the airline your traveling on, it will be there, here are some links with more precise info.

Have a nice trip!Is it OK to have make-up in you hand luggage?
your most welcome, my hubby travels alot so I keep up with the rules.... He just left again today for a week so I had to pack for him once again. All bathroom liquids go into that bag for carryons Report Abuse

You are only allowed small amounts of liquids, gels, etc in your carry-ons. Each container can't have a capacitys more that 100 ml, so you can't have half empty 200 ml bottle. They must fit in a 20 cm x 20 cm resealable clear plastic bag, not all airports will have these bags so it might be good to bring your own. Don't put this bag in your carry-on when you go through security.
Some types of makeup are ok. If its liquid or gel then you are only allowed to carry it on in 3 oz containers and then you must put all your containers in a plastic bag. If its other stuff like mascara or a foundation stick then its ok. However the rules change a little every where you go. For instance, I just went down to Mexico and had both my toothpaste (it was a paste, NOT a gel) taken away from me (even though I've flown with it multiple times before and been ok), and on the way back security took my deodorant (it was a solid) out of my carry-on. So just use your best judgement and try to minimalize.

Should a 11 year old be allowed to wear make-up?

Ok i am 11 going into 6th grade and i really want to wear makeup, only mascara and eyeliner, most of my friends do. But my mom wont let me, please give me ur opinionShould a 11 year old be allowed to wear make-up?
i think that lipgloss and mascara is fine for 11 yo

eyeliner, i think that's pushing it.... i'd wait til next year for that. i would let your mom know you are mature and responsible. don't expect for her to pay for your makeup and do chores around the house to show how responsible you areShould a 11 year old be allowed to wear make-up?
    Yeah it fine
It is a bit young. You are still a child so enjoy it. There is plenty of time later to wear it. Besides it looks a bit freakish when kids wear it too young.
um depends if you want or no

if you do why not wear
your a little young, even though im a 15 yr, guy lol, maybe wait until your like 13 - 14 yrs. old
i think so, but not over do it just a little but if you dont do it well it looks messy well eyeliner does.
    lol, too young.

don't be fast like ur friends...

    w8 till high school
yeah they should be but im goin high school and i still cant
Maybe a bit of mascara and some lip gloss...that's it.
    i don't think you shouldn't.

my friends and i laugh at kids who are 10, 11, 12, who wear make-up.

I think you should start wearing make up at 13, or 14. But very, very, light makeup.
Yes ugly people need make up
when i was in the 6th grade girls did where make up but i always thought it was weird and made them look older [ in a bad way ]

I think it's creepy. [and no i'm not some mom or anything, i'm a teenager.]
It's because in the future, your friends faces will be worn in wrinkly when they're older because they started wearing makeup too early! And you mom wants you to stay beautiful so stick with lip gloss until a couple years. And trust me, it'll be worth it :] (makes a HUGE difference)
well i think you should only where mascara and lipgloss and if you're going to a party, wear eyeline with mascara.
When I was eleven, I was only allowed to wear lipgloss

I personally think that eye makeup should wait until your 13
    no
maybe mascara eyeliner[just a little] and lipgloss.

    But nothing dramatic like eyeshadow,bronzer,foundation,etc
i think that curling your eyelashes is an alternative.

I think you should be allowed because a long long long long time ago when I was 11 i just curled my eyelashes and wore mascara.

I think that your mom should at least let you wear a little bit of mascara.

And if she ends up letting you wear both, stay away from black eyeliner at that age, unless you aplly it on very lightly, go for gray or brown.
if its not heavy eyeliner then you should be allowed. but otherwise you will be attracting attention from much older guys ( which is what your mom is worried about) and that could lead to bad things. they could kidnap you, molest you, rape you. you have to be careful about how you present yourself and where you go.
Eyeliner, NO. Just because your friends are wearing that crap, doesnt mean you need too. The world is corrupt these days, young people wearing appealing stuff and whatnot.
no. stop being like ur friends
    yes.
I think that mascara is definitely okay, and eyeliner is only okay as long as you go light with it. Heavy stuff looks weird on pre-teens.

Just try to explain to your mom why you want to wear it. She's probably just hesitant to let her daughter grow up so quickly.
i really recommend you to wait until your high school days...

even then its not that good..

    some makeups kill your skin and make you look old %26gt;%26lt;
Yeah at your age i really did too.. I would just talk to your mom about how everyone does it. if she doesn't let you try to reason with her, say how about just mascara and some blush. trust me, guys like the more natural look better.
I think as long as it's light (the ';natural'; look) it's fine. You've got a ton of years to wear more make-up...take your time!
You should be ashamed. You are too young. Concentrate on your schoolwork rather than how you look. Beside, what makes you think anyone would be interested in you even if you had make up? If you are ugly, you are ugly. Makes ups won't help.
