How old were you when your mom let you wear make-up?

6th grade- i wore the basics, chap stick and mascara

7th grade- i could wear natural colors in eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner.

now i wear natural colors, because i was taught that u always want to bring out your natural beauty, never look like a clown. so i wear tinted moisturizer, brown liner, brown mascara, and chap stick. How old were you when your mom let you wear make-up?
I was always sneaking it on during and after 6th grade, but only mascara. I was always allowed to wear lipgloss though.

7th grade, I started sneaking on eyeliner, but in the end I just asked her if I could wear make up and she said yes. She was thinking of pink eyeshadows and stuff like that, but I was talking more about heavy eyeliner xD (I dressed very ';Emo/scene'; in the 7th grade which is why) and we would always get into arguements about it but I still wore it.

In the 8th grade I wore eyeliner the same way, but we stopped having problems with it, and i wear a little less now, but more gold eyeshadow and stuff.

If/when I have a kid I'd probably let them wear lipgloss and stuff at any age, but mascara, blush, and eyeshadow when they are 12 just because if you don't know how to apply stuff like this properly, it could make your eyelashes fall out (mascara did that to me once) and be bad for your skin. Eyeliner when she knew how to put it on without looking like a clown. How old were you when your mom let you wear make-up?
For my 11th birthday, my mom gave me a Mary Kay party. I was in 6th grade. I was allowed to wear light colored (pink or brown) lipstick, neutral blush, and powder everyday after that. I was allowed to add eyeshadow and mascara in 8th grade.

I plan on doing the same for my daughter.

However, with the makeup also came skin care. My mom bought me cleanser, toner, and moisturizer so that I would be able to take care of my skin properly. It is never too early to let your daughter start taking care of her skin. Just make sure to get her something that is for sensitive skin.
in 6th grade all i wore was lip gloss.

now im in 7th grade and i only wear brown mascara and lip gloss. i only use foundation sometimes when i start to break out.

but i really dont need a lot of makeup now.

my mom said i can use whatever i want in 9th grade.
i started to wear some eyeshadow and mascara in 5th grade

then by 6th grade i sometimes wore eyeliner

and in 7th grade i wore eyeliner, foundation, mascara, eyeshadow, etc.

every day! i still do :O)
My mom lemme wear makeup in the 4th grade. haha

But I occasionally wore mascara, thats it.

Until 6th grade i didnt wear really anything..

now I'm in 7th and wear it everyday!
my mum let me wear lipgloss at 11, then a little mascara and lipgloss at 12. Now, at14 I can wear whatever, and I wear dream Matte mouse foundation, mascara %26amp; lipgloss
12- BUT only blush and mascara. Don't want to over do it.

She's 13 now and wears foundation, blush, eyeliner, and mascara.

But not too much. Sounds like it but it's really not.
My mom let me wear eyeliner when i was in 6th grade, because i had to go to a wedding .. and from then on.. i started using it. Now i only wear makeup occasionally.
Anytime my mom let me rock make up I think it helps me also I had a pimple on my cheek so I needed to smack some on there it worked!
my mom let me wear it wen i was in the 6th grade. :]

im a teen so..i dont have n e kidz[%26amp;%26amp; not expecting n e soon either!]

but if i did..i'll let my daughter wear makeup in like 8th grade maybe?
My mom let me where make up whenever I was ready. i wasn't ready until 13. I think 13 is a decent age to start wearing makeup but just not to much.
I was a sophmore in highschool!

well i'm a junior now, %26amp; i wear more than before.

when i first started, i jst started with eyeliner and that's it.

  • Whats appropriate make-up for a thirteen year old?

I just want to no. You can say im to young but i want to go for a natural look. Whats appropriate make-up for a thirteen year old?
If you were my daughter, I would let you wear mascara, lip gloss and nail polish. Whats appropriate make-up for a thirteen year old?
im 14, (9th grade) i wear foundation, powder, bronzer, eye liner, mascara, and barely ever but sometimes eye shadow. so i would say about that much cause i really dont wear alot compaired to ppl at my skol.
In every make up the most important thing are the eyes and to make them look natural but noticeable I suggest you to use a liner or eyelash mask together or separately. I think that's all.

Perhaps a little mascara, and some gloss.

If you want a little darker, try brown eyeliner.

White eyeliner to line your inner rims is natural-looking as well.
base(concealer, cover-up, whatever u want 2 call it) maybe some lip gloss, and depending on how dark your eyelashes are maybe some mascara....
the key to good makeup is that it looks natural..................i know your saying you wont go for a natural look but a fake look just looks silly
try a little bit of eyeliner and brown eyeshadow with your color of foundation

In what ways are bacteria different from the cells that make up your own body?

There are a multitude of ways that bacteria differ from the cells that compose your body. Here are just a few:

    1) Bacteria contain no nucleus; they are prokaryotic cells. Your cells, however, do contain a nucleus; they are eukaryotic cells.

    2) Your cells do not have a cell wall that protects your cell membranes. Bacteria do have a cell wall (and some have a second cell wall called the ';outer membrane';).

    3) Transcription of genes into mRNA takes place in the nucleus of your body's cells, and translation of that mRNA occurs in the cytoplasm. Since bacteria have no nucleus, both transcription and translation occur in the cytoplasm.

    4) You are a multicellular organism. All of your cells need to work together to keep you functioning, and this means that they need to communicate with each other. Your body's cells use a variety of methods for intercellular communication, such as secreting hormones and other extracellular factors. Bacteria, on the other hand, are very limited in the ways that they can communicate with each other. Many do so through a process called ';quorum sensing';, but many other species have no known way of communicating at all.In what ways are bacteria different from the cells that make up your own body?
The cells that make up your body (and other animals, plants, and fungi) are called eukaryotic cells. Eukaryotic cells have many characteristics that make them unique. The biggest difference is that they are compartmentalized - they have membrane-bound organelles (nucleus, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi, etc.) that house different types of the cell's machinery. The membrane is basically like the membrane on the outside of the cell. They also have what's known as a cytoskeleton - basically tiny filamentous proteins that help to keep everything in the right place.

Bacterial cells are prokaryotic and their cell components are not compartmentalized into organelles. They also lack a cytoskeleton and are much, much smaller than the cells in your body.In what ways are bacteria different from the cells that make up your own body?
Bacteria are prokaryotes. Human cells are Eukaryotes.

Bacteria have no membrane-bound organelles like human cells do.

Cells are generally about 10x larger than bacteria.

Both reproduce differently (mitosis vs. binary fission)

Bacteria can live in more extreme environments (hot, cold, radioactive)

What are some good make-up tips that make hazel eyes really pop?

a little bit of black eyeshadow or black eyeliner! since your eyes are light and black is so dark, the contrast will make your eyes stand out. pretty much any color that contrasts or is the opposite of your eye color will make them pop. What are some good make-up tips that make hazel eyes really pop?

I put black on half my eye lid and get a sparkly gray and blend it end on my whole eye lid then i just put black eyeliner on the bottom lid on the inside and on the out under my eyelashes.

Then i put black mascara on and then powder and blush! and light pink lip gloss! it looks so good! :)

How do you make your make up look natural, and good!?

I want to look a natural, but like i want to be noticed. and i have already been to a makeup artist, and they didn't help. i just want to have a laid back kinda style. i have short hair, and a light skin tone. any suggestions????How do you make your make up look natural, and good!?
I would recommend a good tinted moisturizer and some powder foundation, and either clear mascara or a light coating of black mascara. Keep your eyeshadows neutral (bronzes/golds/browns) and if you use eyeliner, use and earthy brown. A little bit of blush and some tinted lip balm, and you're good to go!How do you make your make up look natural, and good!?
dont wear foundation because then your skin looks fake you can wear a little if its to cover up a zit or 2 but for eyeshadow try a shade that is bairly noticable then put another layer a little darker right above your lashes wear regular black mascara and eyeliner and go for a clear lipgloss somtimes less makeup is more ;)
Try Physician's Formula from Wal-Mart. I use the loose mineral powder and it works great. It gives you light coverage, but still evens out skin tone.

Then you can either go natural with your eyes, or play up your eyes with more color. You can check out pursebuzz.com for a few tutorials.
Apply primer and then your natural tone foundation.

    concealer

a little lighter than your natural skin tone eye shadow over the ball of your eye

define eye brows with clear mascara

    curl lashes

    apply clear or black mascara
make it a little see through don't make it dark

How much is the average cost for wedding hair and make up ?

At my cousins wedding each maid had their hair done for $50 and makeup was $30 if we didn't want to do it ourselves.

I think that is about average even for the bride, sometimes it is a little more but not much...How much is the average cost for wedding hair and make up ?
It depends on where you live. I'm in N. California and have heard an estimate of 50 for a preview (not the actual day!)

If you go to a beauty school you can have someone do your hair and another person do your makeup. Remember, they are students! It will be much cheaper but it will take a touch longer. How much is the average cost for wedding hair and make up ?
It can be really cheap if a good friend or a bridesmaid can do hair and/or makeup. Then just give her an extra gift. Then you don't have to pay for each girl and yourself to get makeup and hair which can get REALLY pricey. In Chicago, they quoted $60 for the bride and $40 for the others (not including tip).
I live in NJ and I am going with a ladt who does hair and makeup from her home. However she is coming to my house. Hair is $55 and makeup $20. My bridemaids/mothers are $45 hair/ $20 makeup.

I can really make a difference if you go to a salon. I was quoted $100-$200 for hair and $50-$75 makeup
Depeneds where you are and where you go. Wedding updos can start at about $45 and go up. Makeup can be from $25 and up dependsing what you want.
