She is 13 and was almost truly anorexic for about three months. She is now 14 and she hasn't gotten much taller at all and her puberty kind of stopped. My girlfriend was anorexic for a while. Will she ever make up the growth she lost in that time?
Once her body is back in good health the puberty should start back up, and a woman usually doesnt stop growing until around the age of 18 (on average, give or take a little bit) so she could get taller, but that might be the height she is going to stay at.My girlfriend was anorexic for a while. Will she ever make up the growth she lost in that time?
You are so wonderful to be so concerned for your girl, Bless You!!!!! There is a website that has a great supplement program that is customized for each individuals needs. It is certified organic and manufactored from metabolic testing. They send you a kit to use at home and send back to them and they will custom make the vitamins to fit her needs, that will nurse her back to health. She is still young and can come back around health wise. It will even help her chemical inbalance from robbing her body of nutrients. They may even help to stop her anorexic problem. It is worth a try.
Good Luck to you!!! the website is:

She will be back to normal but it will take time to regulate her body again-learn how to eat, get counseling and have her parents help her through this because she will need all of the support she can get from everybody. She needs understand that she needs to get over her fear of eating. It will be probaly until she is 16 or 17 before she can get back to normal but it takes time.
with your love and guidance she can do it=tell her you like her with a bit more meat on her body
