Sadly look to other countries for answers. Prior to the 1990's South Africa had a thriving economy, solid infrastructure and a top notch military(best in Africa and comparable to western armed forces).
After the end of apartheid and the ANC(African National Congress) swept the elections they fired most Afrikaner's and english decent soldiers and officers and since then there military is still decent in africa but is no longer at the same caliber as it was. SA's national police force since then has degenerated to a hit squad and the ANC promotes quite genocide by supporting the murders of ';white farmers';.
SA's is slipping to almost a third world level. Look at Europe.
As the population balance changes violence and crime increase.
I don't want to make any assertions but there are more then enough real world examples of what happens to a country and to ';white people'; when we are no longer the majority or in control.
Other races try to wipe us out. Every country where ';whites'; are a minority or a weakening majority anti white hate crimes and even genocide are prevalent.
No America has been a country ';founded'; by immigrants and has never stopped being a nation of immigrants. Native Americans are the original and true Americans. So no one really has a right to declare to ';preserve'; this country for only one type of people. That would be as crazy as whites in South Africa saying that they need to maintain their rule and their numbers even though they brutally and bloodily stole all the wealth of South Africa from the original black South Africans that still outnumber them by 5 to 1!
Here in New Mexico, I'm used to being the only white guy in a roomful of Chicanos y Chicanas. They're my best friends, they're my cousins, they're my brothers-in-law, my uncles and my nephews at this point, and it's been that way for 40 years. I've learned lots of Spanish from being around them, I know what a dollar dance is, I know a whole lot of good music that many others have not experienced and I am surrounded by the best Mexican restaurants in the world.
Why in the hell would I want to give all that up just to see whites be the majority?

Not at all, we just happen to be currently. This country was founded on immigration and the promise that anyone could come here no matter who you were and get the chance to make a life for yourself.
Ok, Ok, so there was racism for a long time (and still is in some respects) and now immigration is a big convoluted mess, but I believe truly that the promise is still there even today. No one gets it right straight out of the gate. But we elected Obama president. Regardless of how you feel about the man's policies he still won in a free election. And Condoleza was Secretary of state all those years etc. etc.
So once again no, white people don't have to be the majority ethnicity in this country. Statistically we just always have been.
No, you can be the most powerful demographic within a country, and still be a minority. It doesn't help the country as a whole, but , from a Whites perspective, they don't really need to be a majority to maintain the same life style they have now

(Kemet was an African nation) They are the arrogant type of White that makes the rest of us White people look bad. No, but if we are not all programs like affirmative action need to be removed. They were made to protect minorities but if we are also a minority then they have lost their purpose.
when white people invent most of what we use everyday, when white people work and pay taxes, then yes we need to make up the majority.
