Do Major Stock Holders Always make up 100% of the board of directors for corp?

Do CEO/Presidents have to run all major decisions by the BOD? Do Major Stock Holders Always make up 100% of the board of directors for corp?
No, the directors are not necessarily the major stockholders, they are elected to the board by the stock holders. They often include people from academia and such. Major stockholders are often institutions like retirement funds.

The CEO has to run certain decisions by the board, probably not every major decision. The CEO has to do something.Do Major Stock Holders Always make up 100% of the board of directors for corp?
Take the help of Excel spread sheet to collect all the data and then arrange them in ascending or descending order to use your judgement.
