I have brown eyes too, and here's what I have found - plums, violets, and tans will bring out brown eyes.





I use mark.'s Metalliner liquid liner in Bronze Edge. To make my eyes really pop.





Then I use the i-mark eye shadows. They have a real deep purple color called Plum Velvet that is really popular. Also, a sparkly brown called Java that is great. The best part is you can experiment and have fun, because they are really affordable. They are $4 each and you can purchase the snap to it pallette in various sizes to hold the eyeshadows.





And finish it of with Mark.鈥檚 MAKE IT BIG mascara in Espresso. It is a must have! It is one of their best selling products. It has a big brush but still allows you to coat every lash. Brown eyed girls can pretty much wear whatever color they want. I have brown eyes and I can wear anything but most purples, plums and lavendars. They make me look like I have a black eye.





For a day look I would go for a nice golden taupe color with a bit of a shimmer. In the MAC paintpots, I have Indianwood and its wonderful for day or night. Its a cream with a shimmer and you can put it on as light or dark as you like.


I also have Moss Works in the paintpots - I put that in the crease of my eyes over the Indianwood for evening.





I also have the Bare Study in paintpots and some times when I want a fresher cleaner look I will just use a bit of that and some mascara.





I think I have Untitled in the paints from MAC as well. Its a bit of a plum/nude color. I like it for work and will often use it with the Bare Study near my brows.

Really to see if you can wear plums and purples you need to go to a makeup counter and try some on. Some brown eyed girls can, but not many. Other than that, you should effectively be able to wear any other color.
I would mix a brown with a silver-ish color. Darker towards the bottom of your lid and get lighter as you go up, I dont go all the way up to my eyebrow (however I have seen it done) I would go a little higher then where your eyelid is when your eye is open, I hope this helps! :)
I have blue eyes and have been told to wear brown, so I think you should wear blue ( not too heavy though)

dont worry about it, wear something thats nice but dont get too dressed up. wear light makeup. i would suggest some eyeliner used according to your hair color (light hair- use light brown,blue, or green eyeliner ;; dark hair- use dark brown or black eyeliner) put on a coat of black mascara and maybe use some eye shadow - stick with earthy tones (browns and beiges) you could use some bronzer or blush if you think it looks good, just dont overdo it...








as for hair, i would suggest wear it down... if you want to straighten it, do that. curl it? that would be fine too. guys like it much better when your hair is down.

well, first you need to start with a great foundation.


i lovee Maybelline SuperStay Silky Foundation, it goes on smooth %26amp; stays on all day. for blush colors, i would recommend a light rose pink to give a natural pretty flush. a couple good blushes that i use are Mark Good Glowing Blush in Cameo Glo, another is Jane Blushing Cheeks in Blushing Earth, and my personal favorite, Mally Get Cheeky Dewy Blush in Dawn. purple eyeshadow looks great with your skin tone %26amp; pink cheecks. my favorite purple eyeshadow is Chanel Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Lavande. some mascara looks good too, my favorite is CoverGirl LashExact and Dior DiorShow. a natural lipstick goes great and ties everything together, so I like to use sally hansen plumping treatment in sheer mocha. good luck! hope this helps.I think i need to tone down my make up for school what to you suggest?

I use soft make up for day time. Just a little powder, some blush, soft, very thin brown eyeliner, brown mascara, and pink lip gloss. Less is more for day time.





For night, I still use just a little powder, but I use silver eye shadow, black eye liner and mascara, and dark pink shiny lipstick. If it's a formal event like homecoming, I use eye glitter.

Well, the classics that a highschool student can say they need are a tinted gloss that doubles as a chapstick and a medicated concealer (if you have acne). But the look you should be going for, if your intent is to look more professional as a student, is wholesome and well scrubbed. This means soft, natural colours, pastels, only the lightest of eyemakeup... You get the idea. If you're using an eyelash curler and three colours of eyeshadow, you're already overkill.
try to use natural colors, like browns and grays, use them lightly and dont abuse the eyeliner less is more.. a bit of mascara and a tough of clear lip gloss!
I am fair and darker blonde too, and am trying (and succeeding too i hope) at tone down my makeup.


I usually do not put anything on my skin except moisturizer on the dry places, a little light pink or orange eyeshadow for a natural look (when compared to lime green or dark purple) and a little mascara, sometimes liner.


You shouldn't worry about dolling up you entire face everyday, unless you love to, just wear what you think you need and don't worry that it isn't enough!
I am the same way and my mom and dad are always telling me I look fine without it. eh... no.

I am wondering how much the average person is spending on how they look. I spend around $3,000 to $4,000 on keeping up my look. It is hair cuts and highlights, eyebrows, nails, waxing, facials, make-up, lotions, etc...

Um I just go with what I need every month is probably spend about 200$ on that stuff...and 200$ on clothes. I basically just go to shoppers every week get shampoo I usually go with Moisture Gloss it works great. Along with conditioner. Then I get facial masks, I just pluck my eyebrows so you don't need to pay much there, Make-up I just get myself black eyeliner and Light lipstick a nude color works great, and bronzer you really only need to get this once every month not even. Nails a bottle lasts pretty much a year....Really your spending to much. xD
It cost a whole lot if you buy really good products but i waste about $60 weekly plus the nails and the pedi and makeup , face wash, lotion, ect.

Hey it depends on your skin texture. If your skin is oily then you can get special moisturizers for oily skin, etc. But really you should make sure you put on some sort of lotion with sunblock in it.
Depending on the needs of your skin (dry,oily etc). You only need one type of cream for your skin. For you face use Aveeno products and use the daily moisturizer with 15spf (you make use a higher spf if needed) and at night use Aveeno moisturizing oatmeal facial bar.
If you go out the door and only have 2 seconds to put something on, it must be SPF!! Growing up with a father who is a dermatologist I had this grained into me at such a young age. Because my father is a derm. I have a routine I follow everyday that he has developed for me. I tend to have problem skin at times and I am super oily but all these products are available in stores and I am not in any prescriptions.


In the morning, I wash my face first with Spectro Jel. I then apply an eye cream, but I only need this because the skin oon my lids tends to dry out, so you can skip the eye cream. I then use moisturizer by Complex 15 and use La Roche Posay SPF 30 facial mist. I then apply my makeup as I usually would. Just remember, no matter how tired you are, wash your face before you go to bed. Although these products are good for your skin, when mixed with oil and dirt over the day, it does no good just sitting on your skin.

Sadly, I have the same problem. I am 19, and people think I'm as young as 13 still sometimes. It's a blessing and a curse.





What I do is keep my hair on the shorter side (around shoulder length) keep my make-up light but natural (Black mascara, natural eye shadows, and my foundation). I also wear clothes that are considered to be conservative, but still show off my curves a little bit.. It's not much but it helps, the other day someone thought I was 17!! Nothing wrong with looking innocent. A lot of people prefer innocent looking girls. Girls generally will look older to most people anyway. Don't worry about it.

I wore green contacts for three years and pretty much mastered what eye make up looked good with green eyes. However I decided I needed to get rid of the colored contacts and the make up styles I used to do before don't really bring out my eyes anymore.

Smokey eyes is always a winner for people with dark eyes, I always use more eyliner on the top eyelid though, and I bring it out a little so you have that cats eye look going on(looks sexy apparently). But not too much or you will look like Cleopatra. Always put lots of mascara on your lashes too, this brings them out.





Basically just do what you did with your green eyes but change the colours to golds, coppers, blacks, creams...just more neutral colours.





If you want to do something bright, try purple, apparently brown eyes are the only colour that can pull off purple eyeshadow ;)Make up tips for big brown eyes?
With brown eyes, lining on top is a must, black eyeliner, black mascara, you can never go without these or your eyes will get lost in your face. That being said, greens and blues do the most to pop brown eyes. Even just layering a royal blue shadow over your eyeliner will make them look shinier and make the gold tones in your eyes stand out.

Green eye shadow looks great with brown eyes.
Hi, I have brown eyes, also, and I wear a light beige highlighter shade in the brow area, a medium brown or tan on the lids and a little bit above the crease and then at night I add a darker brown in the crease area. I also use medium brown eyeliner and dark black mascara. It's a more natural look, but really plays up my eyes, and is good for day or night. Be sure to blend the eyeshadow so it's not just stripes of color on your eye lids. Have fun playing around with different shades and ideas. Hope this helps!

Well I have big brown eyes also and that's one of my best features about me. I always get compliments on my eyes.


You had said something about makeup...well I wanted to wear colored contacts too but I chose to stay clear. Your eyes are the first thing that anyone notices when they approach you. You will feel 100% more confident when you know they are popped out.


I wear nuturAl eye shadow and black eye liner. I wear the eye liner on the bottom and thin ontop of ur eyelid...don't make it to thick! That should make your eyes pol out good is the eye liner. But if you like color to your eye shadow I just go with black and silver. It brings out the eyes slot. See what toucan do withthat(:

a Grey eye liner on the top only until your eye lashes end.. then (only for formal events) Put it on the bottom only halfway until your eyelashes stop... Then A light Blue or light GRey Eye shadow until your bone starts would Look GREAT.. Mascara all the way on the top and only on the corner of ou eye on the bottom... this also helps your eye pop

i think thats all any girl needs i dont see the point in haveing a big box of makeup that your probably never use.
I say that you should only keep what you use every day. If you don't use something or it's old or ugly, you should throw it out. This way if you have to bring your makeup somewhere with you, you don't have to lugg a bunch of makeup around with you.





But if you're really having trouble throwing some of your makeup away, you can pack some away somewhere that it's out of the way, but so that you can still use it once in a while to do makeovers at sleepovers or if you find that you need some thing from your old makeup one day.
Well you know make up expires... So it depends on how much you use because you'll have to throw it out eventually. But this is what i have now i think...

I try to only buy stuff I'll use every day %26amp; colors I can use alot. Also I HAVE to buy name brand make up cause I have very sensitive skin that breaks out easily. So I only use brands I know won't make me break out...
depends..... if u have anything open for 6 monthes or more it should be thrown away anyway. if u have diff colours thats ok but 3 black mascaras, or 3 of the same foundation is taking the mick.

The article was interesting. If I recall correctly, they are hypothesizing that dinosaurs, unlike other reptilians, may have evolved to be warm-blooded, which is why they succumbed and the contemporary crocodilians did not. They also may have been poisoned. They lifestyles and diets did differ.

They sell it at Sephora in a starters kit for about 60$ But its worth it. They also have many different shades. It works wonders, trust me =]

Yes, dermablend is a great line of makeup available at Macy's stores. It works amazingly well. However, if you want the beak outs to get better, I'd suggest no makeup at all. I know it's hard, but time will improve the situation. I am also on Retin-A micro, and have been on it for a while. I do not wear any makeup anymore. My skin has improved wonders. Hope this helps!
MAC is good coverage, and doesn't clog. Jane Iredale is nice too but the coverage isnt good. It is very healthy for your skin though.

Try on a white shirt and an ivory shirt. If the white one looks better then you are cool..if the ivory then you are warm. If both look equally good then you're neutral =)

I would recommend going to the one of the clerks in the make up department for help, that's how I got my foundation.





These are my tips though:


Okay well, you can find out what undertone you are by going to the L'Oreal website, or go to a store and match it with those funny little skin tone things you hold up to your hand. If you have oily skin, look for a foundation that won't clog your pores (I use one that is made up of 50% water so I won't break out. It was around ten dollars) , if you have dry skin, then look for one that won't dry your skin out even more! And if you have regular skin, then you're golden and can pretty much pick which foundation you want.


Also pick one that doesn't smell, because other people can tell.
Ok I have used this. Hold a piece of white paper next to your face. Look in the mirror.


If your skin looks pinkish compared to the paper you are cool.


If your skin looks yellow you are warm


If your skin looks a mix of both you are neutral





Also look at the veins in your wrist, if they look blue to you then you are cool.


If they look blue-green you are neutral


If the look green you are warm

start with getting some black eyeliner, a thick pencil will be better... put it first in the inside of your eye, then put it on the bottom and and the top( so that your eye is completely outlined with thick black eyeliner.... next put on some heavy mascara( or you could use vaseline: the color of the eyeliner will mix in to make it black, it works just as good, but it isnt bad for your eyelashes, PLUS it gives your eye a really moist look. don't put on TOO much tho cuz then it looks weird...)


next fill in your eybrows a little bit to make your whole eye area look really dark and defined...





also you could use some black eyeshadow, apply it with a really thin brush, this will give you an EXTREMLY emo look...

How old are you? Most parents don't want to get their kid a dog b/c they figure they will end up taking care of it. Who is going to pay the vet bills? Getting a dog spayed/neutered is a big expense. Oh, and to convince your parents show how responsible you can be and prove to them that you are not a child anymore, if your above the age of 12 you should be able to convince your parents.

They are a lot of hard work. They need constant attention. They must be walked at least once a day, it is cruel when people don't walk their dogs. They are expensive and yes, when you go away it is hard, espcially if you don't want to put them in a kennel. You could look after someone elses dog for a week to show your parents that you can take care of one. The best dog for allergies would probably be a labradoodle. They don't mult so there hair shouldn't be a problem.
I have the exact same problem here. My dad is allergic to fur so it's really a bummer for me but anyway the reason your parents are telling you these things is probably because it's true but if you really think there just excuses then this is what I did. I play soccer so I made this bet with my dad that if I scored a goal I could get a dog but if I missed i could get a hamster and then I made him sign a contract. I ended up getting a hamster but if you don't play a sport use grades or something by saying if you get straight As you can get a dog.

Look, it's nice that you want to stand out out look pretty, but you are too young to wear make up. Stick with the lip gloss. Maybe just wear make up when you are in middle school. Plus most elementary schools don't allow it. There is other ways to look pretty and make up is not always the right way to go. Just warning you, girls that start wearing make up too early age faster.

The make up i would do is really simple.


First make your cheeks Rosy Pink colour (as you already know.)


For the eyes well make the eye shadow match the dress, and if the dress is a dark or very bright colour make it a little lighter, but still make it stand out. Where some Mascara and you could also use blue mascara which would make you more colourful also you could add a little bit more colour by wearing a colourful eyeliner.


All the brands should work.

I would say really matte skin, like a porcelain doll, then big, dramatic spiky fake lashes, white eyeliner on your waterline, and black eyeliner on your lower lash line so it makes your eyes look huge. And maybe a lipstick that matches the color of your cheeks. Good luck!

If you want to be a rag doll....be sure to use black eyeliner as stitching from your forehead ....a line down your nose to your chin, then draw tiny horizontal lines all the way down. You can even draw eyelashes on!
i would use a lighter face powder (almost white), really rosy cheeks, lots of mascara and red lipstick (dolls always seem to have red lips!)

Hi there all, I am 26 weeks pregnant and was wondering if anyone knew what benefits my partner and I can claim for when he has his two weeks paternity leave. I took paternity leave earlier this year but only got the basic rate! (拢112.75 or 90 per cent of your average weekly earnings if this is lower), I dont think there is any benefit's that you could claim to boost your income over that time period.

Men should always use moisturizer first and wear sunscreen, which will help their skin. Also, there's Brow Gel for men to keep eyebrows sculpted and very nice looking. Honestly, other than that I do not think men need any other sort of makeup (unless your Zac Efron, but that guy is just plain wierd). However, sometimes its already to put on a dusting of translucent powder to even out the skin. Hope I helped!

bare essentials is awesome, i don't use a separate concealer, i just use their concealer brush and spot cover things like blemishes, or broken capilaries, and then the larger brush for the rest of my face, it's great coverage

Ebay has brushes for dirt cheap! target and walmart both sell cheaper brushes single packs usually but my freind works at drugstore .com and see's brushes all the time for cheap example

Primarily, he is in the team for his batting %26amp; then bowling. The fielding he does is extra although very beneficial since he saves 20-30 runs in a match. But then, he wont last long if he doesnt score with the bat.





Yeah, I agree he is going through a lean period. But considering his reputation %26amp; record, the selectors have decided to persue with him for the time being hoping he will come good. I would have had him play some first class matches after the long fishing layoff before letting him into the team. But then again it doesnt hurt to have someone as energetic as himin the team. He can lift the teamspirit was dynamic persona. Hopefully, he will come good soon %26amp; justify his selection.
Ponting and the selectors came out and said tthat Symonds was picked as a number 6 batsman NOT as an allrounder. That being the case he should be playing for Queensland when the first test against SA is being played. His form, apart from fielding, has not warranted his being in the test team. Symonds should have been playing for Qld last weekend not Watson. Speaking of which Watson got 7 for 80 odd and an 81 with the bat.





For the first test in Perth Watson should be there in place of Symonds and so should either Hauritz or Krejza.
well players aren't selected in the team because of their fielding, they are in it for batting and/or bowling being a great fielder is just an extra.





Id personally rather Watson in the team who took 7 wickets and scored 80 odd runs for queensland....why not pick a man who is in form over someone who is obviousley out of form.

well lets be honest here, right now his spot is in trouble, his bowling has never been very strong (or well used for that matter) and his batting form of late has been poor, Watson bowled well in India, his batting improved a lot on that tour, and thats before you add in his current good form with both bat and ball, i think Symo place in the side is in real trouble right now!





but what will they do for the Perth test, could they play both Roy and Shane and use him as the 4th quick and Roy as a Part-time medium pacer/spinner or could they play Krezja (who will back back in front of Hauritz now, and well he should, as Hauritz isnt even NSW first choice spinner!), bat Watson at 6 and drop Symo, both are possible, what do you guys think?
He is a very handy batsman when he is in form. We in Australia like to give our players a chance when they are not doing so well, and there's no reason to think Symonds won't be back to his best before long. In the meantime, his fielding %26amp; bowling are of value to the team.
He is in the team based on reputation for his batting - which is hardly earth shattering - personally I'd not play the guy but Ozzies like him - he has the ear of Ponting obviously or he would be history.

Well, I think he is in the team for his bowling and his fielding, which is top class. He is kind of like Afridi, who has lost his batting but is in the team for his bowling
Absolutely. I believe in Symonds even though I know Watson deserves his spot. The problem is deciding who else should give up their spot to have both in the line up. Maybe when Hados retires, Watson can have the opening role.
He is certainly not in the team for his fielding. It is because of his explosive batting. He has been having a lean spell with the bat. But give the guy time. He will return to form.

He is an excellent cricketer and he can bounce back anytime either with his batting, fielding or bowling.
his average of 41.90 is what keeps him in the team,he is reliable even though he has had the last 2 tests with low scores.
