What is appropriate 2 wear while attending cosmetology schoo? Do I have 2 have perfect hair&make-up everyday?

I'm starting cosmetology in the fall. I haven't picked one yet, but I want to know if I have to wear dress pants, pencil skirts, heels, %26amp; blouses. Are jeans ok? Can I wear my hair in a pony tail or in a messy bun? What is appropriate 2 wear while attending cosmetology schoo? Do I have 2 have perfect hair%26amp;make-up everyday?
It depends on what the dress code for the cosmetology school is. I would assume that you need to look professional (dress pants, nice tops that aren't revealing, etc.); no jeans. I don't think you need to wear heels. Your feet will be killing you at the end of the day. You'll be standing for at least 8 hours. A pair of dressier flats should be fine.

As far as hair and makeup, you need to look put together and professional. You can wear your hair in a messy bun or a ponytail, but I wouldn't wear it pulled back everyday, but every once in a while is fine. What is appropriate 2 wear while attending cosmetology schoo? I went to a Paul Mitchell partner school and their dress code is pretty strict, you have to wear all black, except on certain days they'll allow you to wear jeans with no rips... You need your nametag on and closed toe black shoes (as cute as heels are- DO NOT wear them to school- your on your feet the whole time, and your makeup and hair has to be done. No buns. No ponytails. Braids, updos or wear your hair down. friends have gotten sent home to put on makeup because they didn't have makeup on.

As for the all black though- you can buy a pack of black tee shirts and wear them everyday- just dress it up with accessories. You don't need to get a bunch of expensive new things, just be creative with your hair and makeup etc
Usually the school will give you a dress code but no it doesn't matter how your hair and make up looks when you start because that's exactly what you're there for. But when you do get to the floor meaning actually doing clients hair i would advise you to make sure you look professional with nice hair and make up. A artist is only as good as her work shown.
i did hair and beauty at TAFE. we had to dress as if we wer working at the salon. we had to wear long black dress slacks and a dressy shirt, or skirt with stockings, maybe Research some simple but stylish hair styles, as for shoes id be going for something comfy as sometimes you will be on your feet allot. look presentable. id ask your teacher what the dress code is.
Ok so i would say all those are ok to wear to school.

NEVER have your hair in a bun.

Ponytail is fine and you dont have to look perfect just decent.
