Why some women of certain age wear make up at the gym?

Who cares how you look when you're excersicing?Why some women of certain age wear make up at the gym?
there are some I feel badly for :) I'm speaking of the ones who go to the gym from home with makeup....the ones who are struggling with the low self esteem issues. It can be an awful battle!!Why some women of certain age wear make up at the gym?
I don't know what ';certain'; age you're meaning .. but alot of women go to the gym as they can squeeze in the time; whether it's lunch hour or after work so if they use makeup to be at work or out and about during the day it's mostly like because it's already plastered on their face... not that they put on the makeup to go to the gym.





Then too, there are those females that cannot even answer the door without having a full load of makeup on.
exactly what i say but i guess some see its as also a place where they could meet someone.
I don't know why it just gonna sweat and make them look like they have to blk eyes.
They are trying to pick up guys.
Um does it matter? I mean wearing make up whenever, wherever to some is just like clothes to them. They feel naked without it and uncomfortable. you can get too used to wearing it.





I don't see an issue to be honest. Just because they are exercising, why should this automatically mean they have to walk around with no make up? Does it annoy you or something?





Does not mean they wish to pick someone up, just means they feel better in themselves for looking a little more decent in public and everybody has a right to feel a bit more comfortable if it works for them. If you were so into just exercising, you'd not notice what others are doing as much.
some women wear make-up to the gym, for the same reasons they go to the gym. To look good. I am aware that some go for medical reasons, but the majority go to look good. They probally have low self esteem going to the gym, so they feel like they have to cover up their faces to make up for their bodies not looking good.

I don't think it's a certain age, is it? I think those women go for the main purpose of picking up a man or to impress some stinking man.

Well, I'm a woman ';of a certain age,'; and I don't wear makeup at the gym.





Maybe another question to ask is, why do you care how OTHER people look at the gym? Really, you might get better results at the gym if you worried less about what other folks are doing.
i think they feel that they look better in makeup and don't want to appear old. as you get older, obviously your face changes and sometimes it aint pretty.
