Stage makeup is much heavier, and not recommended for everyday wear at all. It requires two to three coats of foundation (darker than your real skin tone), dark eyeliner, and a darker shade of lip color as well. Most of the time, people have makeup artists or people experienced in stage makeup to help you with this. The reason for this heavy makeup change is so that the bright, harsh lights don't wash your complexion out on stage. Don't go too crazy and dramatic with the colors you use on stage, or you'll still look like a clown. the diff is that wen ur on stage lights wash out ur face so wen u go on-stage ur big day use bright hues of color on ur eyes and soft pink undertones on ur cheeks and cheek bones and bright pinks and reds on ur lips these would be great ideas for a pagent as well. i do alot of stage acting so i know wat the lights can do to ur complection and make sure to use a good foundation then a nice powder sealer that matches ur skin tones because u can end up looking very shiny

Theatre makeup is quite heavy darling. And you would tend to exaggerate your features with it, unlike everyday makeup.





If you are in a beauty pageant, the last thing you want to do is have a ';goth'; appearance, unless that is the theme of the beauty pageant.


Goth would only work if that is the theme of your appearance, whatever the occasion.





Simply use your everyday makeup, but use double layers, and exaggerate your eyes and lips. Use a tad more blush as well.
Yes there's a difference. Stage makeup is supposed to be bright so everyone in the audience can see it. Wear bright red lipstick and things like that. Maybe bright blue eyeshadow.
The colors don't matter as much, you use whatever you want for the look you're going for. Stage makeup just needs to be heavier because the hard lighting will wash you out, and the makeup helps make your features more visible.





I hate most of the makeup in beauty pageants, but if you're in one, I'd reccomend finding a professional who has done others before.
Stage make up is normally put on alot heavier and alot more noticeable (brighter) where as normal make up you can put on as little or as much as you want
Well normal makeup you dont need to wear as much. When you are on a stage you need to put on specific colours and a different amount so that you don't look washed out in front of the bright lights. Probably darker colours because they'd stand out.
I teach pro photography modeling makeup-which is the same as stage makeup. You don't want to be too light nor too dark-you want to look like you only taking the brighter lighting into consideration so it's the same as everyday makeup application only somewhat heavier with more definition for lining eyes, lips and using contours.
