here are two poems sorry i couldnt come up with anything better.
it makes me feel free
when i am not playing, i dream
the wind in my face, the energy i waste
the effort i put in, the time that i spend
it is all for one thing
that one thing isnt to score
and it isnt to win, or prove anything
but just for the love of the game
there is more to soccer than just scoring
that is why most people find the sport boring
those people dont see what goes on
they just look at the scoreboard and yawn
they dont look closely at all the cool plays
they dont see the excitment within the game
but the people who do see cant get enough
the excitment it brings them strengthens their love
most people will never get the game or understand
they will never appriciate the game like a soccer fan
